"will of the people" argument

"no rational peaceful need for enriching to such a massive extent"

  • 60% is nowhere near weapons grade 90% and it might be for easy transportation and then downblending with natural uranium for civil use. Anyway, there was an agreement about the Iranian use of nuclear power, with inspections etc., but Trump I withdrew from the agreement.

"INTERCONTINENTAL ballistic missiles"

  • The Shahab-6 has a range of 14,000 km. That is less than Israels Jericho IV.

"Those missiles threaten Europe"

  • There is no reason for that.

"Trump's first name is NOT Neville"

  • J.D. Vance once called Trump the American Hitler.

"nobody has threatened to use nukes against Iran"

  • Iran felt threatened by Israels Jericho IV ballistic missiles and Israels nuclear weapons.

They are firing them at Europe now even though Europe did not attack Iran

Europe has American army bases, from where air raids are flown.
You acknowledge that this is a war right? harbouring warring parties is an act of participation and the party doing it can be considered a participant.

I think both responses to me missed the point entirely.

My comment about "human rights" was more a comparison with the way things are done in other countries (and admittedly was out of place in my post) than anything. The whole point I'm trying to make is that the involvement of the US/Israel does not in and of itself change the facts that a) the whole conflict (specifically, the fact that Israel and the US attacked Iran) is questionable, at best, and b) that the Iranian regime was questionable, at best.

yes, I believe we all agree that the Iranian regime was bad. But a US regime would be much much worse

The US has no interest whatsoever in upholding regional economy. We have seen in Venezuela already that rich US oil tycoons gained it.

Yes, the Iranian leadership does not tolerate dissent. But at least it does not steal Iran's natural resources for companies half a world away, and it has a natural interest to keep people at least survivably fed. US has none of it.

Instead it steals the resources and sends them to terrorists

oil? I doubt it. Also google: Iran oil revenue: 49 billion, Iran military expenses 2024: ~24,6 billion

Face it, the Iranian government care about other things than military/terrorism. For example: the Iranian people's income.
