It is that time of year again!

The 2026 Racing Kings Olympiad is confirmed and registrations will be opening soon! THIS IS NOT A REGISTRATION FORUM!!

james126, MIMOGR, and bijiy are proud to announce and host the 2026 Racing Kings Olympiad. Please keep an eye on this forum or join the team below for the most accurate and timely updates on this event!

Due to not having a Lichess Racing Kings leader hosting this event, we will be hosting this team through the Racing Kings Competitions Committee [^1]
There are no longer going to be assigned boards! Instead there will be Three Different Time Controls (3+2, 1,5+1, and 3/4+0) with different match lengths. Players are not set to a single time control for the entire competition! The team leader will communicate which player is playing which Time Control for each round.
Three players play in each round, but we are allowing substitutes! This means that teams can choose to have a fourth player and rotate their players in and out!
The second stage is going back to having four teams advance! The team that wins the Swiss stage will receive a bonus Wild Card. More info will come on that later!

Please feel free to discuss the event, ask questions, and unofficially form teams in this forum! Once again, THIS IS NOT A REGISTRATION FORUM, but spread the word and get prepared for another awesome Racing Kings Olympiad!
