Depend on your goals. If you plan to finish in the top500, that is very probable, and given your rating, my advice would be to take advantage of the time control and play with a lot of berserk in the beginning or after a long break. When you're close to the end of the marathon, avoid berserking to keep chances to score. Taking breaks is the most important thing, even if they're long break, but you shouldn't skip break, because if you ever plan to play several hours, you'll have to take a long break and several shorter when you think you're in a losing streak, for example. And don't mind a lot about losing streak or rating, because they're the background. If your goal is to reach top500 at least, you should not care about losing rating but you should care about fulfilling the goal.

My advice is to never berserk

My advice is to never berserk

Play a lot of 1+0 bullet. If you want to win the marathon, then berserk all games. Sleep well before. Keep light food and beverages at hand.

Thanks, but what would you count as light food and beverages?

I read it, but it seems to be for long term diet for people that play chess.
I was just wondering for the marathon what would be good?
Thanks

When it comes to playing at your best, good sleep (at least 8 hours) is a lot more important than diet.

Agreed.
But the problem is that if you want to wake up at about 3 or 4 am ( marathon starts 1 am my time) it is kind of hard to convince yourself to go to sleep at 8 pm

If you play the entire game, you'll have to stay up for a night and a half. It's a cool trophy, but it's not worth the extra effort. As for your schedule, I'd recommend starting in the morning at a time that's comfortable for you, say 10:00 AM. Then take a few longer breaks, but keep your total play time to around 10-12 hours, no more.
This way, you'll play to the finals with minimal impact. You have a good chance of making it into the top 500, but to reach the top 100 (given your record ratings), you'll have to play for at least 15 hours, which is too intense and there's no guarantee.
Play within reasonable limits and try to achieve your goal within those limits. If you're not succeeding yet, it's no big deal.
