Marathon preparations

Agreed.
But the problem is that if you want to wake up at about 3 or 4 am ( marathon starts 1 am my time) it is kind of hard to convince yourself to go to sleep at 8 pm

If you play the entire game, you'll have to stay up for a night and a half. It's a cool trophy, but it's not worth the extra effort. As for your schedule, I'd recommend starting in the morning at a time that's comfortable for you, say 10:00 AM. Then take a few longer breaks, but keep your total play time to around 10-12 hours, no more.
This way, you'll play to the finals with minimal impact. You have a good chance of making it into the top 500, but to reach the top 100 (given your record ratings), you'll have to play for at least 15 hours, which is too intense and there's no guarantee.
Play within reasonable limits and try to achieve your goal within those limits. If you're not succeeding yet, it's no big deal.

Thanks for the advice, but the only marathon I got to top 500 I had to play for 16 hours.
And even more than that, if my last game ended 15 seconds later I wouldn’t have made top 500.
I did get much better in bullet but still I think I would need a bit more to be like top 300.
Maybe I will indeed wake up later than my past marathons but still i will probably have to play quite a lot!
