Points lost in tournaent

I played 1 game, won, but the score said I've lost points.

I saw it in other players as well, but noone was able to explain why.

Any idea?

I don't understand what the problem is.

That can happen if you join a tournament, withdraw, play games outside the tournament, then rejoin.

For example, lets say you are rated 2000. You win your first tournament game, and move to 2010. Then you withdraw, play a game outside the tournament and lose, bringing your rating down to 1990. Then you rejoin the tournament and win against a low rated player, gaining 5 points to 1995.

In that example, even though your tournament record is 2-0, it will show that you lost 5 points overall since you lost some rating outside of the tournament.

I Joined the tournament, did NOT withdraw, but played another game BEFORE the tournament start and lost.
