I m disagree a little- if to play with a plan, that doesn't means pieces are well coordinate, to coordinate piece need an ability to feel deep position, not a concrate plan.Plans are mostly simple, especially in blitz, and even if to build them without really see all, that can be wrong too.
Also pieces should defened each other, it's almost true, but most part of chess is attack , not defence I believe, so if to built game around defence, there is less coordination and progress, but defence shoould be in right time, as part of coordination I believe
