It is an instructive game indeed.
13 Qxb7? is indeed too greedy and wrong.
However, this cannot be generalized. Sometimes the greedy Qxb7 or Qxb2 is justified.
Fischer advocated 7...Qb6 and 8...Qxb2 in the Sicilian Najdorf and engines have proved him right.
In that position black has not yet castled either, and white has a lead in development too: white has 4 pieces developed and black only 2.
Here is a more recent game:

White won in the end, but only because black erred in a 7-men endgame table base drawn position.

Nice blog! Btw you said that you accidentally played the Englund but then you also said you played it on auto-pilot. So I'm kinda confused.

Since I played Blitz before, I blitzed out on auto-pilot 1.e5 to 1.d4. That's the Englund Opening, but I didn't want to do that so it was an accident.

Normally I would respond to d4 in a Rapid game with Nf6 or d5.

In the blitz game I just spammed e5 as a response to anything because I didn't want to think.
But I didn't consider that I was playing Rapid game, and did the 'e5 to anything' strat on autopilot.
