Will he become a gm
Not the first day when he starts, chess is not just about iq, you need practice and must play some games for learning it.. I don't know.. Maybe..
No, he would not become a GM. Because he didn't like the game that much...and (so he said) abhored the raw competitiveness of the chess world (although apparently the indirect competition to be found in vanguard physics didn't bother him quite so much).
No way he becomes GM. Chess notation was descriptive that time. If algebraic notation was used, Einstein will easily memorized Opening Theory and thousands of games.
Albert Einstein will become World champion in the 1950s.
Being smart to become a GM is nothing. You actually don't need "smartness" unless for very dirty tricks against the enemy.
Let's suppose Albert Einstein plays chess, what would he play as the first move? He doesn't know opening principles nor some basic tactics nor how to win fundamental theoretical endgames. Smartness isn't everything you need to be good at chess, sometimes you should rather "outplay" your enemy. Not like me who tries some dubious openings like Greco attack or something.
There would be a chess theory of relativity
Don't u think he will directly throw a atomic bomb ?
