Hello all members of team chess is life and life is chess! I am making this post to organize a team tournament. I want to get some information from you all. 1). What times work for you? 2). What time control would you like?(A somewhat normal control, not 2+11 or something odd like that. 1/2+0, 1+0, 3+0, 5+0, 10+0, etc is what I am thinking, but am open to other thoughts) 3). I most enjoy playing with an increment. Winning on time is not winning a chess game. It is simply moving your pieces faster than the opponent. Chess in not a video game. Winning by playing fast proves nothing of chess value. 90% of players on this site disagree with this, lol. So I do not see any but would like to see tournaments with time controls like: 5+5, 10+10, 15+15 etc.

Sounds like someone has been losing on time. "It is simply moving your pieces faster than the opponent" wrong they calculated their moves faster than you.

I see both of your sides here. I will (of course), have more than one tournament through the course of time, so perhaps we can alternate increment, no increment, etc.

You guys are not in the team though.

I would like any bullet time control cuz that's my favourite! But I don't have any problem with longer time controls with increment.
