Accuracy rating injustice for my opponent

I've just played a game against a magnificent opponent, who played so many strong moves. I think he was perfect to move 25 or so. Then, because of just 2 bad moves in the endgame, he lost the game. It's just not fair to him that all of his moves were perfect and he was crushing until the final moves. How is this such a low accuracy game? 67%

You made three inaccuracies. Just looking at the eval graph, each of his blunders was twice as bad as the combined effect of those inaccuracies.

Yes, but 2 moves out of 37 accounted for 33% of the accuracy rating? The rest were actually perfect. I think he only hit a 2nd computer move once when he played b5.

By comparison, this game was riddled with blunders on both sides. VERY flawed. The accuracy rating is HIGHER?! What even does accuracy mean?

Going from much better to much worse multiple times is worse than going from draw to worse.

As it says at the link above, accuracy isn't the percentage of good moves. Here's a game of only three moves where one side has 17% accuracy and the other 4%.

Well, as you've just seen, the "accuracy" statistic doesn't really mean all that much...
