Please stop sending "Upgrade to the new app" alerts to me. It's unbearable!

I can't make the switch if a critical feature is missing in the new app.

Believe me, I've tried the new lichess app, multiple times, even the latest version as of writing this, just to see if my feature has been implemented. It has not been implemented.

The feature? Three little dots
The dots you see when you have been disconnected from the internet. I have poor internet connectivity where I'm from, because of which I've lost dozens of online games simply because I got disconnected and the new app didn't tell me. The old app does warn me, everytime, instantly, by displaying those three little dots on top of the board. Try it for yourselves! And you'll see what I mean.

"But the new app does display signal bars as well as the ping" , you might say. Well, that doesn't help me either.
Why? See, the signal bars are green when you have a ping that is <500ms but they are black when the ping is >500ms. I have an internet connection that is almost always >500ms ping. So no matter if I am connected or disconnected, I always see the dead cold empty black bars.

Just gimme back my three little dots, and I'll hop on aboard the new app! If not, just stop sending me "This app is no longer supported, please upgrade in 1 minute" alerts.

Seconded, but for other reasons. The alert sucks, and the new version is very feature incomplete. I don't care if it's unsupported I'm going to keep using the old version until there's other piece set options, sound options, etc.

The new app does already allow you to change piece sets and sounds

I am sorry, I feel the same, as @incorporealist, the features that were removed from the old app or simply no longer work because of no more support are less of an issue than the features that are still missing from the new a App.

Which features are you missing still?

In the old app, okay, I had no lobby, but I could look for correspondence matches. I can't find in the new app.

I the old app I could start matches with different times and increments - I don't find in the new app

Okay, I withdraw my second objection. I’ve found the section where you can start a new game.
