I know this would have been reported several times before, but I'd like to know why it happened. I was waiting for my opponent to move, I waited a few minutes then refreshed my page, it says I lost by time out. That is ridiculous, I know people will say its my connection but there's nothing wrong with it, I even did an internet speed test right away and it said my connection is really good. Is there a way that myself and others can avoid this bug in the future?
Also I took a screenshot of the lost game, it says I have 4:04 minutes left yet I timed out? That makes no sense

Maybe the screen was glitching, and you didn't realize until your time ran out?

No thats not a thing, I was watching their time go down, It went down to 1 minute before I refreshed.

What happened is you got disconnected from lichess and did not notice or get told by your browser. Which made your opponents clock tick down to 0 and make it seem that you won but when you exit or reload the page or click to analyse you get reconnected and see that you lost because you never got your opponents move.-copy pasta
for the bit about the speed test the internet is a bunch of raods now just because you can go to place a and have no traffic does not mean you can go to place b if the road is closed
meaning because 1 thing on the internet works does not mean other things will

5 bars connection means you have a good connection to your wifi router or cellphone tower not to the internet remember wifi and 4g are ways to wirelessly connect to devices not the internet
Its the devices you are connected to that provide the internet which you can test with a speed test

Everything was perfectly fine, its not my fault the web page needed to be refreshed, connection, hardware, net speed, everything working perfectly fine. The only way around this I can see is using an auto refresh chrome extension
