It's always the low rated mugs that make the most unfunny stupid comments

@Butcherooooo Us low rated mugs have a much better sense of humour than highly egotistical mugs and you surely qualify in the latter group. You certainly appear to make the most of your status. The bigger the ego, the bigger the mug. I’m therefore quite happy to be lower rated than yourself.

No no you don't mate, your sense of humour is about as large as a fly's turd, and I don't have an ego, i just don't want tossers on my forum questions like yourself when I'm asking a genuine question, now off you go blundering mate in ones to 900 rated players LOL

@Butcherooooo Well unfortunately for you, tossers like me can post on forum topics created by tossers like you. And I’m glad you rate my humour as large as a flys turd. I’m truly flattered.
And if you think that you’re being insulting, the bad news is you’ve a way to go yet. I’m off to blunder mate in 1 to an 800... working on the 900.

Either Susan or Judit Polgar would be a good place to start.

Come on people, I came to this topic looking for some books to learn. I found 3 useful replies about learning material in a thread with 18 replies.. What good is chess skill if we lack decency?
I'm currently reading The Complete Chess Course - From Beginning to Winning Chess - 21st Century Edition (2016)

I'm going through two books at the moment:
- The Amateur's Mind by Jeremy Silman; gives guidelines on the thought process during the game.
- Play Winning Chess by Yasser Seirawan; important concepts in chess like material advantage, strategy, etc.
That being said, Jeremy Silman has a book review site that may be worth checking out: https://www.jeremysilman.com/
