@nyutixbrother Thanks for the suggestions and detailed plans. I do not think the format is the main issue, but there are other significant obstacles to solve. That being said, to be realistic - I do think unfortuntately it is highly unlikely that there will be an event like that this year. What the future may bring us in upcoming years, hard to tell tho. Also as I said, these things are not up to me.

As per your request, I've passed it onto Lichess Team and I'd expect them to contact you in some way (in the forum, DM etc. etc.) to answer your question about the reasons why such an event is not planned for this year or in the foreseeable future at the moment.
Once again, thanks a lot for your ideas and surely they'll be taken into account once such event is in the works.
