I don't think it will hurt our cheat detections methods if I reveal this.

You reported the account about 6 days ago and it was banned about 2 days ago, so unfortunately for you you are just about outside the refund zone, as it is capped at 3 days.
I did not have a look at the specific case but I assume it took a little bit longer than usual because in classical we expect people to perform better than blitz so more evidence is required.

In general though, apart from the "someone you reported was banned" or "here's your refund" types of automated messages we don't send verbal or personalized responses to anyone, for several reasons (time consume on top).

Now that you've received three moderators responses I hope you and the other users are a bit more reassured.
