I am Anuj Shrivatri from India, an International Master with 1 GM Norm — and I have been playing chess for over 15 years, with a FIDE Rating of 2478.
Over 15 years, I've broken down every layer of the game — openings, middlegame plans, endgame precision, and psychological tricks many players completely ignore.
Since 2019, I have been an International Master — and in that time, I've seen firsthand what separates players who improve rapidly from those who stay stuck at the same level for years.

1. Runner up at Bengaluru GM Open 2025.
2. Winner of First Saturday GM Round Robin November 2025.
3. Runner up at Vaujany Open 2025.

I have been into coaching for last 3 years, with students from intermediate to an advanced level.

My teaching methodology is based on analyzing the student’s games to identify repeated errors, missed ideas, weak plans, and decision-making patterns. This helps us work on the exact areas that are holding back progress for you.

I also help students build a structured opening repertoire that suits their style, so they know what to play and why. Special attention is given to middlegame planning, calculation, endgame technique, and practical tournament thinking.

My aim is to make improvement systematic and realistic. After each class, I provide guidance on what to study at home, so progress continues even outside the lesson. You will get a clear idea of your weaknesses, the exact routine you should follow, and the right material to work on
